One converter for every image format

Images arrive in all sorts of formats. Websites serve WEBP and AVIF. Old scanners save BMP. Messaging apps pass around GIFs. Phones produce JPG, and screenshots come out as PNG. When you need all of them in one document, hunting for a separate converter for each format wastes time. This image to PDF converter takes them together and returns a single PDF.

How different formats are handled

JPG and PNG files go straight into the PDF with no conversion, so their quality is untouched. For JPG photos, the EXIF rotation tag is applied, keeping phone shots upright.

Every other format is first decoded by your browser, which is why the list is so broad. The decoded picture is then stored in the PDF losslessly. This means WEBP, GIF, BMP and AVIF images keep what the browser shows, although lossless storage can make the PDF larger than the original compressed files. Animated images contribute a single still frame.

Layout choices

  • Fit image sizes each page to its picture, which suits on-screen viewing.
  • A4 and Letter center each picture on a standard sheet, scaled down to fit and never cropped.
  • Orientation set to Auto picks landscape for wide images and portrait for tall ones. You can also force either.
  • Margin adds a white border. None fills the page, while Small and Large leave clean space around each image.

Conversion that happens on your machine

Nothing you add here is transmitted. The browser decodes each image, converts formats where needed, and writes the PDF, all within the current tab on your own hardware. Our servers only deliver the page itself, never your files. After it loads, the converter keeps working without a network connection, which is handy on flights or patchy Wi-Fi. There are no accounts, no charges and no watermarks.

Honest limitations

  • Format support follows your browser. If your browser cannot display an image type, it cannot be converted here either.
  • Each image fills one page. Placing several images on a page is not supported.
  • Converted formats are stored losslessly, so files may grow. Use Compress PDF to shrink JPEG photos inside the result.
  • Limits are 100 images per PDF and 200 MB per file.

Frequently asked questions

Which image formats can I convert to PDF?

JPG and PNG are embedded directly. WEBP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and other formats your browser can display are converted automatically before being added. Support for less common formats, such as HEIC, depends on which browser you use.

How do I convert WEBP to PDF?

Just drop the WEBP file in and click convert. Your browser decodes it and the image is placed on a PDF page without any extra steps. You can mix WEBP files with JPG and PNG in the same document.

What happens to animated GIFs?

A PDF page cannot animate, so only a single still frame of the GIF is used, normally the first one.

Can I combine different image types in one PDF?

Yes. That is the main advantage of this tool. Add photos, screenshots and web images together, arrange them, and they all end up in a single PDF.

Will my photos appear the right way up?

Yes. For JPG photos, the EXIF orientation tag from your camera or phone is applied, so pictures are not left sideways or upside down.

Are my images kept private?

Completely. Decoding and conversion happen inside your browser, so nothing is uploaded. Once the page is loaded, you can go offline and keep using it.

How many images can I add?

You can include up to 100 images per PDF, each up to 200 MB. Large batches of high-resolution images need more device memory.
